In the nationwide revolution of 1857 against the british, gujarat has its own glorious history to narrate. Two brave fighters of TAJPUR village near ahmedabad, RATNAJI & RANGAJI THAKORE, laid their lives for the freedom of our motherland from the british.

The YUG-PURUSH OF KHADIA-LATE SHRI ASHOK BHATT.
A man lived with roar of lion & a soft heart like that of mother for the people of khadia. Served as an MLA for more than 34 yrs-(seven consecutive terms). The khadia was known synonymously with the name of this great leader. He was a statesmen, a social worker, a historian, a politician par excellence. .. He departed from us in octobet 2010 AD.
We pay him the rich tribute & our thouand salutes for his tireless tryst with the happiness for the poorest of poor...
